Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information AI Agent Tools ("we") collects through aiagenttools.co.za, why, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

• Customers: your email address and name when you subscribe, your plan, and the dates of payments. Card details are entered on Paystack's pages and processed by Paystack; we never see or store them.
• Usage: the number of calls made with each API key, by product and tool. For the free tier we count calls per visitor using a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of the internet address, so we do not store the address itself.
• Questions sent to the tools (for example a salary amount or a property price) are used only to calculate the answer and are not stored.
• Contact: anything you send us by email.

The public website uses no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics trackers.

Why we use it

• To provide the service, issue and manage API keys, apply plan limits and bill you (to perform our contract with you).
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to understand which tools are used so we can improve them (our legitimate interests).
• To keep financial records the law requires.

Who we share it with

• Paystack, to process payments and subscriptions.
• Cloudflare, which hosts the service and its data. Cloudflare operates worldwide, so information may be processed outside South Africa under contractual safeguards.

We do not sell personal information or share it for marketing.

How long we keep it

Account details for as long as you are a customer and then as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally five years). Usage counts for up to about 13 months. Free-tier counters expire after a few days.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email mail@lilje.co; we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).

Security

Data is stored with access controls, API keys are random and long, and the admin area is password-protected. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you and the Regulator of any breach as POPIA requires.
