Terms of service
Last updated 26 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of aiagenttools.co.za and the tools and API it provides (the "service"). By using the service or subscribing to a plan you agree to them. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
1. Who we are
The service is provided by AI Agent Tools. Contact: mail@lilje.co.
2. The service
We provide South African reference data and calculations (payroll and labour rules, property costs, building cost estimates and Cape Winelands visitor information) as tools that software and AI assistants can call over the internet.
3. API keys
- A paid plan gives you an API key. Keep it secret; you are responsible for calls made with it.
- One key is for one customer. Tell us straight away if you think it has been exposed and we will replace it.
- We may suspend a key that is used to break these terms or that threatens the service.
4. Free use and fair use
The free tier allows a limited number of calls a day without a key. Paid plans include the monthly call allowance shown on our pricing. Automated attempts to get around limits are not allowed.
5. Plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in South African rand through Paystack, our payment provider, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing date after the notice period.
6. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time. See our refunds and cancellations policy.
7. Accuracy, and no professional advice
- We take care to keep figures correct and current, and each answer states its source and the date it applies from. Laws, tariffs and prices change, and errors can happen.
- Payroll results are statutory minimums. Bargaining-council agreements, sectoral determinations or contracts may require more.
- Building and property cost figures marked as estimates are budget guides, not quotes.
- Wine farm information comes from farms and partners and may change without notice; confirm bookings with the farm.
- The service does not give legal, tax, financial or professional advice. Check important figures with a qualified professional before you rely on them.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the service running at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may carry out maintenance or change features, and will give notice of significant changes where we reasonably can.
9. Acceptable use
You may use results inside your own products and in answers to your users. You may not: resell or republish our data as a competing dataset or service; copy the data in bulk; use the service unlawfully; or try to breach its security or disrupt it.
10. Ownership
The compilation, software and presentation of the service belong to us. Underlying public information (such as legislation and official tariffs) remains public.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, including the Consumer Protection Act where it applies, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest version on this page and email paying customers about material changes at least 30 days before they apply.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002.
